Practice flying and air firing at sea.
Sgt. Markiewicz flying aircraft V.6753, misjudged height wilst diving at sea marker and struck the sea two or three times. He managed to climb to about 800 ft. and attempted a forced landing at Moralles Farm afew miles inland, but lost consciousness through oil and glycol pouring into his cabin. Pilot slightly injured and admitted to Royal West Sussex Hospital. Aircr aft Cat. 3.
A/F/Lt. Czerwinski and P/O. Narucki attached to H.Q. 11 Group for th ree day R/T Course.

P/O. E. Pilch flying aircraft R.2687 crashed Nr. Arundel. Aircraft appare ntly dived into the ground from 15,000 ft, and smoke and flames were seen to be coming from it just before hitting the ground. Cause not known. Pilot killed. Aircraft Cat.E. burnt out.
