One Ju.88 damaged by “A” flight, Blue Sectn. Attack was delivered a t 27,000 feet over Selsey Bill. Enemy aircraft on being attacked dived to se a level After several bursts from Blue Section the enemy aircraft speed was reduced by 50 %. Section returned to base through lack of petrol and ammo. Information later recived from H.Q. 11 Group states that the plots on th is e/a ceased in such a manner as to suggest that it had crashed into the sea and was therefore claimed as having been destroyed.
