13.45. – Squadron engaged in Sweep over Brest as Bomber Escort, taking off at 13.45. Enemy aircraft encountered and three were destroyed and three probably destroyed. F/O Glowczynski, P/O Rytka and P/O Sporny destroyed the three ME 109s., and Sgt Malinowski, P/O Budrewicz and F/O Rodziewicz the probables. Our aircraft suffered no loss or damage and all landed at Harrowbeer at 15.15.
