Squadron ordered to Bolthead. 4 aircraft ordered Reconaissance Patrol over channel, one a/c returned with mechanical trouble, the other three procceding as ordered. Only one a/c returned from the patrol, two being lost. F/Lt Kosinski and P/O.Bednarski being missing.
F/O.Lapka reposted to 302 Squadron to F/Lt post, “B” Flight.
