One aircraft took off at 0925 for Cross Country Flying, landing at 1135 hours. Also at 0925, three aircraft took off for Flight Formation, combined with Low Level flying and Cloud Flying. At 0930 three aircraft took off for Navigation, landing at 1130 hours. Three followed two sorties to and two sorties from B.118. W/O. Raczkowski carried out local flying from 1410 to 1540. Two more aircraft at 1410 to 1540 carried out low and Cloud Flying, together with foto attack. Solely on foto attack, three more aircraft took off at 1410 hours, landing at base at 1540 hours. Total non operational sorties 17. Total non operational hours 23.30.

1946-06-05

From 0930 hours to 1100 hours, four aircraft took off for foto exercise, a fifth taking of at the same time carried out lone cross country flying until 1115 hours. Three sorties of navigation followed from 0930 hours to 1055 hours. F/L. Sniec and F/O. Stański carried out local flying from 0930-0935 to 1030 hours. The flights for the afternoon were Squadron Formation carried out by 11 aircraft, from 1415 hours to 1535 hours. Total non operational hours 28.35. Total non operational sorties 21.

From 0925 hours to 1040 hours three aircraft flew in aerobatics. Then two more at 0925 hours took off for Long Range Cross Country Flying, aircraft landing at 1150 and 1205 hours respectively. From 0925 hours to 1040 hours, four aircraft took off for Armed Recce, coupled with Low Flying. The Squadron Commander, S/L. SZYMANKIEWICZ, flew from B111 to Buckeburg and back, taking 45 minutes flying to and 45 minutes from. Total non operational hours 15.20 Total non operational sorties 11.

From 1145 to 1400 hours, two aircraft carried out escort to Beaufighter aircraft. F/S. Albrecht flew ocally from 0910 to 1055 hours. From 0930 to 1100 hours three aircraft flew in Navigation exercise. At the same time of take off four more aircraft took off for Cross Country Flying, landing at 1100 hours. One more aircraft took off at 0940 hours to 1110 hours for Cross Country. F/O. Stański and F/L. Beyer flew to Y.74, taking ogg at 1020 and landing at 1150 hours. Total non operational hours including further local flyights and aircraft tests, 18h.25m. Total non operational sorties 13.

From 1005 hours to 1040 and for the rest of the day with the exception of one flight to and one flight from B.156 by W/O. Detka, the Squadron carried out Low Level bombing. Total non operational hours 10.50 Total non operational sorties 20.

From 0940 hours to 1140 hours, two aircraft carried out navigational flying. From 0940 also to 1140-1145, four aircraft flew in Cross Country Flying. At 0955 hours there was another navigational flight by F/L. BEYER, who landed at 1145 hours. W/O. Krysakowski took off also at 0955 hours, landing at 1145 hours after carrying out aircraft test and navigation. F/L. BEYER and F/O. Stański returned from Y.74. Total non operational hours 15h.50m Total non operational sorties 8.

From 0940 to 1100 hours two aircraft flew in foto exercise. From 0945 to 1145 two more aircraft took off and landed after Cross Country Flying. At 0955 two aircraft took off for navigation landing at 1155 hours. F/O. Stański flew to HAMBURG. At 1405-1435 two sections each of four aircraft took off for Group Exercise led by F/L. Śnieć and W/O. Schmidt respectively. The operation was a bomber Escort and was carried out according to plan. Both sections were intercepted by hostile aircraft. A dog fight with 4 spitfires took place east of HOYA. All aircraft returned to base. F/O. Stański returned from B.168. Total non operational hours 24.40 Total non operational sorties 16.

From 0950 hours 1130 hours, two aircraft carried out Flight Formation. One aircraft took off at 0930 hours for Navigation, and landed at 1040 hours. From 0930 hours to 1130 hours four aircraft carried out high flying, and Flight Formation Flying. F/S. Piotrowicz flew to B.156.

F/S. Piotrowicz returned from B.156. From 0930 hours to 1055 hours, four aircraft carried out Flight Formation. At 0940-0930 two aircraft took off for aerobatics landing at 1055 and 1050 respectively. One aircraft test was carried out by F/L. TRONCZYNSKI. Again at 0930, two aircraft from the second flight flew in flying formation till 1055. There were still two sorties carried out by F/S. PIOTROWICZ and F/S. ZIOBRO, to B.156, in which they took off at 1030 hours, landing there at 1110 hours. Total non operational hours 14.00 Total non operational sorties 12.

After one weather test the weather proved unfit for flying in the morning, but in the after noon 9 aircraft carried out Squadron Formation, taking off at 1420 hours, landing at 1545 hours.

1946-06-28

W/O. Schmidt carried out aircraft test from 0925 to 0945 hours. Then three scrambles took place in a Group Exercise. 1st. F/L. BEYER took off with four aircraft which he led, at 0955 hours, and, having established R/T. contact with GCC they were ordered to return to base, and they landed at 1015 hours. 2nd. Scramble of four aircraft led by F/L. MICKEWICZ was for interception, and they were vectored into the UELZEN area, but no contact was made with hostile aircraft. One was back to base, where they landed at 1200 hours the aircraft were vectored by GCC and made an interception in the FASSBERG area. Again, four more aircraft led by F/L. Śnieć took off at 1400 hours for interception. Controlled by GCC the a/c. intercepted a single Spitfire above cloud at about 6,000 ft. The second interception with Tempests was not successful, and the aircraft landed at base at 1515 hours. There was a further aircraft test from 1355 to 1410 carried out by F/O. KOSYRCZYK. Total non operational hours 12h.35m. Total non operational sorties 14.

1946-06-29

From 0925 hours to 1045 hours four aircraft flew in Battle Formation and Aerobatics. An aircraft test was carried out by F/O. KOSYRCZYK. From 0925 to 1030-1040 three aircraft carried out Navigation exercise and there was also a navigation exercise by one aircraft from 0925 hours to 1030 hours. From 1055 hours to 1200 hours, there were four aircraft airborne for Navigation and low flying, and one of them forced-landed. F/O. Stanski carried out Navigation from 1055 to 1200 hours. Total non operational hours 15h.20m. Total non operational sorties 14.

1946-06-30

There was no flying today. During the month the weather had not been of the best, and the total flying times were less than those of MAY. There were also three aircraft accidents. Two of which were on the 18th. June. In these, one aircraft ran into the tail of the proceeding aircraft, and both aircraft sustained damage, to categories Ac, and N.I. The third accident took place on the 29th. and one aircraft forced landed owing to Engine failure, sustaining damage to Category E1.
