Formation flying and Roster Exercise were carried out. Weather ; Cloud 6/10 at height 8.000 feet. Visibility 7-8 miles.

Owing to adverse weather conditions no training flying was carried out.
Rain and bad visibility remaind all day long. Improving at evening hours.

Accident prevention lecture, given by F/LT. B. MACH, D.F.C. to all Pilots of this Unit’s who were all at present. No training flying was carried out as the weather was; Cloud 9/10 at various height – 5-8.000 feet. Visibility 3-5 miles.

Church parade held at 09.30 hours. All personnel free of duty attenden.
Rest of remainded day free of duty ecept personnel on essential duty. Weathern and visibility good, except local rain.

Mass has been held at 10.00 Hrs. All Polish Catholic Personnel of this Unit’s attended. Weather and visibility fairly good.

Group exercise “Radar” has been carried out. 9 Mustang IV took part. Also local flying on Harvard were carried out. Weather and visibility good.

Formation and dog fighting, homing and interception flying have been carried out. Flying Controll and its duties , lecture has been given to all Polits. All of them were at present. Weather and visibility quite good during all day long.

18.45 Three Mustang IV took off from Hethel airfield with a wreath, which has been dropped into the Channel as to celebrate all Pilots of this Units who have fought over the Channel and then never returned. Tomorrow will by the day of 6th. Squadron Unniversary and will be celebrated quitly within the Station. Parade of all this Units personnel has been held at 18.15 hrs, then the Nominal Roll of all Pilots of this Unit who die have been call and then one minutes silent has been ordered by the C.O, to honored those who has die for humen freedom. Afterwards the Polish Catholic Padre with all Personnel pried for a little while and then these three Mustang took off anf flown over Channel to dropp the Wreath.
