Weather: - Cloudy with occasional drizzle. Four 600 mile cross country flights undertaken. One flight only completed the full course, two flights returned through adverse weather and the inexpereince of the wireless operators, the other flight returned through W/T failure caused by H/T generator. One 200 mile cross country flight was undertaken but was not completed through the wireless equipment becoming unservicable. Local flying practices continued. Air Gunners ocmmenced training on the practice turret which has just arrived at this Station. Other ground training proceeded as usual.

Four 600 mile cross country flights undertaken but none were completed through the weather deteriorating, one W/T failure due to the wireless operator failing to change over to the the spare accumulators. W/T training carried out in the Anson. Two flying crews carried out training on the A. M. L. teacher at NEWTON. Two hours training for Air Gunners on the practice turret. Other ground training proceeded as usual.

Four full crews carried out crew drill and R/T practice in the air, this was not successful as the R/T equipment in use at the Watch Office was not properly calibrated. Air Gunners had a further three hours training in the practice turret. Other ground training proceeded as usual.

Weather: - Strong wind with snow later. Aerodrome still unservicable. VISIT OF H. M. the KING and H. M. the QUEEN. The arrival of Their Majesties was at 15.30 hourse at No.
304 Squadron hangar. This hangar had been prepared by the Polish personnel of Nos. 304 and 305 Squadrons. The dias was most artistically decorated with the Polish Air Force brevet and badge worked in Paper and superimposed upon the Polish National colours. The Royal Air Force brevet and badge was similary superimposed upon the Polish National colours on the opposite side of the dias. In the centre of the dias a raised background was made the PolishVirtuti Militari as a background and the Polish Eagle placed at the apex. Upon the raised platform a Polish airman was placed as a ground with his rifle at the ‘present arms’ similary a Polish airman was placed at each side of the dias.
1537 inspection by their Majesties of the Polish Guard of Honour. The following personnel was then presented:- W/Cmd. Dudzinski, W/Cmd. Dyrsdale, W/d. Graham, Major McNaughton, A. S. O.s, Cory, Smith, Horn, W/Cmdr. Jankowski, S/L Beill, Wodja, Kleczylski, and Kielich.
