Weather:- Hazy at first, clear at midday, strong wind. Aerodrome unservicable. Air Gunners practice on practice turret. Lectures and ground instruction to Air Crews. Air Crews continue practice on A.M.L. teacher at NEWTON.

Weather:- Clear at first, wind increasing through the day, frost and haze later. D/F calibration local flying, and wireless practice only. Lectures and ground instruction continued.

Weather:- Strong wind, snow at first, ground frost later. Local flying only, lectures and ground instruction continued. Air Gunners practice on the practice turret.

1941-02-04

Weather:- Ground frost at first, visibility good. Dual flying, D/F calibrations, local flying and wireless practice. Air Gunners still practice on the practice turret.

1941-02-05

Weather:- Slight wind at first, turning to gale with snow later. Local flying, dual and solo, wireless practice, Aldis Lamp air to ground training. Lecture on bombing tactics, and cockpit drill.

1941-02-06

Weather:- Heavy mist at first, becoming fair later, visibility good. Weather too bad for flying in the morning, but solo fling with captain carried out in the afternoon. Lectures and ground instruction continued. Wellington aircraft R.1014 captained by Sgt. TOFIN crashed after take-off and all of crew killed.
