OPERATION No. 299. NINETEEN aircraft made a night attack upon enemy reserve troops in the Front area of Normandy with good results. Aircraft J & P landed at Hartford Bridge.

Two aircraft flew to base from Hartford Bridge (.25) and 6 test flights made (2.25).
OPERATION No. 300. NINETEEN again took off to patrol & bomb enemy lines of communication in Normandy by night and all aircraft carried out their mission except Q which returned 10 mins after take-off with bomb door trouble, but later took off again and made successful sortie.

OPERATION No. 303. FOURTEEN aircraft were briefed to attack by night railways behind the enemy front in Normandy and good results were obtained. Eight aircraft were diverted to Hartford Bridge on return, due to ground haze at Base.

OPERATION No. 304. FOURTEEN aircraft again made a night attack on enemy rail transport in Normandy and all aircraft successfully carried out their tasks except N & S which failed to return to Base and nothing further was heard from them after take-off.

OPERATION No. 306. SIXTEEN aircraft took off to attack enemy lines of communication in the ETAMPES-ORLEANS-VIERZON-CHATEAUROUX area in France, all aircraft carrying out their tasks with good results. Aircraft J had one bomb fail to release and H was diverted to Ford.

OPERATION No. 309. SIXTEEN aircraft were detailed for night attack on enemy troops and communications in the Region of ROUEN-AMIENS and all aircraft made successful attacks with the exception of W/O. Pieslak whose flares & bombs failed to release when over target.

OPERATION No. 310. SIXTEEN aircraft were again briefed for night attack on enemy troops in the front region in Normandy. F/O. Wielgosz collided with Fortress aircraft when leaving dispersal and failed to take off, and W/O. Wojtkiewicz returned to Base with VHF failure. The remaining aircraft successfully completed their allotted tasks.

OPERATION No. 312. TWO aircraft made a daylight attack on an enemy train in BRITTANY and hits obtained near the road a few yards north of railway track.
OPERATION No. 313. EIGHTEEN aircraft took off at night to attack enemy troops in the front region in Normandy and all aircraft made successful attacks with the exception of F/L Gawronski whose bombs & flares failed to release in target area.

OPERATION No. 314. FOURTEEN aircraft detailed to attack enemy movements in Sekwanny region and on roads between AMIENS – ROUEN, FRANCE and all carried out their attacks with good results except F/O. Wielgosz who returned when 30 miles off French coast due to aircraft failure.
