OPERATION No. 322. FIFTEEN aircraft again took off for night attack upon enemy lines of communication in NORMANDY and all carried out their tasks with good results. S/L. Grodzicki’s bombs failed to release, but he used cannon & m.g.’s with good effect.

OPERATION No. 331. FOURTEEN AIRCRAFT were detailed for night attack on the enemy in the appointed zone S.W. of PARIS and F/O. Jasinski & P/O. Trznadel crashed a few minutes after take off and were both killed. The remaining aircraft successfully carried out their task except T which jettisoned bombs owing to Storm being met with.

OPERATION No. 333. ONE AIRCRAFT was briefed to attack Railway Junctions in the Moulins area and the aircraft bombed a level crossing & shot up some lights.

OPERATION No. 334. THIRTEEN Aircraft made a night attack on enemy crossings of the R. SEINE in France with good results and TWELVE of the aircraft took off for a second attack and again obtained good results.

OPERATION No. 337. ELEVEN Aircraft took off for night attack on a train of flying bombs in the vicinity of BRUSSELS and five aircraft attacked M.T. vehicles & goods wagons but the remaining aircraft did not observe anything in T/A.

FIFTEEN Aircraft made a night attack on roads in FRANCE and all obtained good results, FOURTEEN aircraft bombed up and took off again to attack the same target, but V crashed during taking off wrecking the aircraft, the crew being uninjured. The remaining aircraft made good attacks except E whose bombs failed to release over the target. F/L Atkins took off again for a third sortie and attacked enemy positions.

OPERATION No. 341. SIX Aircraft made a daylight attack on enemy petrol storage tanks at NOMEXY and all aircraft successfully bombed the target with good results, W/C. Orlinski dropped one 500 lb bomb 1 mile from the target by mistake. Three attacks on target were also carried out with cannon & machine gun.
