Time up: 09.45. Time down: 10.40. F/Lt. Kennard took off to patrol Point Of Air bellow cloud. Cloud was 3,000 feet and there were patches of ground fog.

Time up: 12.17. Time down: 13.25. Same cection took of again to investigate raid X.14. They saw three Hurricanes over Liverpool but no E/A.

Time up: 15.00. Time down: 16.30. Same section took of again to patrol base at 10,000 feet. They were then ordered to patrol Point Of Air, which they did for nearly an hour. No E/A was sighted.
Time up: 16.00. Time down: 16.30. F/O. Baker and F/O. Zielinski took off to patrol base at 20,000 feet. The visibility was by this time extremely bad, with ground fog and 10/10ths cloud at 2,000 feet. No E/A was sighted.
Night and dawn flying, Squadron Formation and D/F practice was also carried out.
