The three u/t Pilots, P/O. B. Ejbich, A/P/O. A. Rogowski, and A/P/O. R. Jozkow ceased to be attached to this unit and attached to Central Aircrew Receiving Centre, Regents Park.
12 aircraft operating from Martlesham acted to close escort to bombers attacking Comines, during which P/O. Zulikowski was shot down and posted as missing (believed killed).

12 aircraft carried out a channel sweep – Beachy Head – Calais – Deal, at 25,000 ‘ coming down to 18,000 ‘. Three pilots tried out the new Spitfire IIB with which the Squadron is to be equipped.
