During the day some Searchlight co-operation was carried out, and also some local flying. Four air craft took of the carry out some air-to-air firing but this was cancelled. F/Lt ZIELINSKI and F/O. SZYSZKOWSKI proceeded by air to Squires Gate and at 18.30 hours carried out some night flying from that drome until 19.35.

P/O. K. GORNIAK was detached to No. 2 S. of A.N. at Cranage for No. 21 Short Navigation course (Instructors)
Sgt. KOSMALSKI proceeded to 315 (Polish) Squadron, Northolt, Sgt. RASZEWSKI to No. 308 (Polish) Squadron, Northolt and Sgt. SOCHA to No. 303 (Polish) Squadron, Northolt all on posting with effect from the 1st November, 1941. The day flying was confined to mostly to Formation Flying. P/O. KEDZIERSKI and Sgt. MICKIEWICZ carried out an operational patrol over Prestatyn at 8,000 feet, without incident. P/O. KACZMAREK, Sgt. PIETRZAK, and Sgt. MACHOWIAK proceeded to Squires Gate by air and carried out night flying at 18.45 hours until 19.20 hours.

Sgt. JANUSZ proceeded to No. 302 (Polish) Squadron on posting with effect from the 1st November, 1941. No flying was carried out in the morning owing to the weather, but in the afternoon there was same Flight Formation flying, and at 13.25 hours P/O/ FLISNIK and P/O LANDSMAN took of to patrol Warrington at 10,000 feet and returned without incident after 85 minutes flying.

Sgt. HORN was admitted to Wilmslow Section Hospital. In the morning Squadron Formation flying and battle interception practice took place. Throughout the rest of the day Flight and Section Flying in formation, local flying and formation attacks were carried out. F/Lt ZIELINSKI, P/O. JEKA and Sgt. SMIGIELSKI proceeded by air to Squires Gate where they carried out Night Flying from 22.05 hrs. to 23.30 hours.

SGT. PIETRZAK and SGT. SLOWIKOWSKI carried out an Operational patrol over a Convoy – Prestatyn – at 6,000 feet from 16.40 hours lasting for 45 minutes. The weather was not suitable for flying in the morning but during the afternoon Flight Formation, low flying, Photo attacks and practice landings were carried out.

In the morning nine aircraft carried out Formation flying and in the afternoon eleven aircraft took part in Squadron formation flying. Searchlight Co-operation, Interception, cloud flying, and low flying occupied the remainder for the time.

F/O. PIRSZEL was posted from the Polish Depot at Blackpool for Intelligence duties. P/O. JEKA and P/O. SAWIAK carried out a patrol at point 2 Angels 10 at 11.00 hrs. lasting for 45 minutes and without any incident. During the rest of the day Formation, cloud and low flying, practice scramble practice Blenheim attacks, cloud dog fighting, camera gun attacks, cloud flying and practice interceptions were carried out. Dusk flying was carried out from Squires Gate by P/O FLISNIK, Sgt. NAWROCKI and Sgt. GORCZYCA. at 18.45 hours lasting for 30 minutes.

2 Cpls and 2 ACs returned from Squires Gate where they had been on detachment for Night Flying. Sgt, HORN was discharged from Wilmslow Section Hospital. 29 aircraft took part in Air Firing, and five of the aircraft took it in turns to tow the target.

F/O. W. SZYSZKOWSKI was detached to H.Q. No. 9 Group for short Navigation Course. 16 Aircraft took part in Squadron formation flying and practice Interception. Two aircraft carried out practice attacks and low flying and two aircraft also carried out some aerobatics.
P/O. SZYMANKIEWICZ, and Sgt.Pilots PIWKO, KRUPA and SOCHACKI were posted to this Unit from No. 55 O.T.U. to complete training prior to becoming operational pilots.

Authority received for the commissioning of Sgt. Pilot J. JEKA and he was granted the permanent War Rank of P/O. with effect from the 1st November, 1941. F/Lt. ZIELINSKI and F/O. RUTKOWSKI carried out some local flying, otherwise the day was confined to Ground Training.

Commencing at 08.35 hours 10 aircraft patrolled over a convoy in pairs until 13.05 hrs. Low flying Battle Squadron Formation flying and practice interception was carried out later in the day.

P/O. ZBROZEK and Sgt. Pilots ZOLCINSKI, SGT. PENTZ, POTOCKI were posted to this Unit from No. 58 O.T.U. Grangemouth to complete training prior to becoming operational pilots. Sgt. KROCZYNSKI was posted from R.A.F.Station, Northolt on ceasing to be N.E. sick. Flight formation flying at 30,000 feet was carried out by six aircraft. Other aircraft took part in practice Interception, local flying and three aircraft tests were made.

Cpl. PADEREWSKI Clk/G.D. was posted to R.A.F. Station, Northolt for duties with the Polish Wing. Two Corporals and one airmen were detached to Squires Gate for Night Flying. Commencing at 08,.30 hours 12 aircraft patrolled in pairs over a convoy until 13.00 hours. 15 aircraft took part in air to air firing, three of these taking it in turns to tow the target. At 16.45 hours Sgt, Pudrycki and Sgt. ROZWORSKI took off on an operational “Scramble” but they returned after only five minu[t]es flying as it was cancelled. P/O. KEDZIERSKI carried out 30 minutes night flying from Squires Gate.

P/O. SAWIAK, F/O. TOMANEK, Sgt. NAWROCKI and Sgt. LIPINSKI proceeded to No. 315 (Polish) Squadron on posting with effect from the 26th November, 1941. P/O SZYMANKIEWICZ proceeded to No. 316 (Polish) Squadron on posting with effect from the 26th November, 1941. Three aircraft took part in Camera Gun practice and eight aircraft in attacks, cloud and low flying.

P/O. SZPAKOWICZ carried out a weather test lasting for 15 minutes but the weather was too bad for further flying, and the pilots therefore listened to further lectures and had more English lessons.
