Six aircraft carried out Flight formation flying. Six aircraft carried out practice attacks, one aircraft with S/Ldr. Wczelik as pilot carried out homing practice in the morning. In the afternoon eleven aircraft took part in flight formation flying and practice attacks. Sgt. Machowiak carried out one aircraft test lasting for ten minutes.
Flying Officer O. Kamienski discharged from Paderewski Hospital Edinburgh, and proceeded to R.A.F. Station, Northolt.

At 0830 hours two aircraft flew to Harrowbeer from there they acted as escort to Lysanders. During the after noon altogther eight aircraft took part in patrols over a convoy, without incident.
Sgt. Smigielski was ordered to land at Exeter. At 1430 hours P/O. Langhamer and Sgt, Horn took part in Army cooperation.

P/O. Kedzierski and Sgt. Rozworski took part in practice interception with “B” Flight as bombers. S/Ldr. Wczelik and Sgt. Jasinski also took part in interception practice, one aircraft took part in homing practice, and three aircraft took part in formation low flying and fighter attacks. Sgt. Slowikowski practiced firing to the sea. At 1410 hours Sgt. Sockacki and P/O. Drecki were ordered on operational scramble but after 75 minutes flying returned to base without incident.
F/O. Kamienski was admitted to R.A.F. Officers Hospital, Torquay. Sgt. Pilot Dabrowski was posted from 18 O.T.U. Bramcote.

At 0940 hours two aircraft carried out operational patrol over Bolthead without incident. At 1205 hours six aircraft were ordered to “scramble” and were ordered to intercept an enemy aircraft which was reported in the vincity, they were unable to locate the E/A and returned to base after 80 to 90 minutes flying. Three pilots carried out aircraft tests and at 1755 hours Sgt. Sochacki carried out dusk flying.

Little flying took place today. Sgt. Sochacki carried out one aircraft test landing for fifteen minutes. S/Ldr. Wczelik returned by air fron Northolt where he went on the eight January and P/O. Krzeminski returned from Brixe Norton where he flew on the 9th January.
Lt. C. Szwagrzak, Polish Land Army Officer, arrived on attachment from 1st Training Batt. Dunfermline to assist in the training of Polish Air Force Personnel in Station Defence Duties.

P/O. Kedzierski flew to Brize Norton. Six aircraft carried out Flight Formation flying and practiced photo attacks. Three aircraft carried out cirquits, one aircraft test, and Sector recognition carried out by Kroszynski Sgt. two aircraft carried out operational patrol over a convoy near Plymouth lasting for fifty five minutes. Two aircraft received an order to scramble and they patrol base at 5,000 feet.
P/O. Z. Zmigrodski proceedet from this Unit on posting to No. 285 Sqdn. Wrexham wef. 9/1/42 for flying duties.

At 0930 hours two aircraft patrolled over a convoy landed without incident after 110 mins. flying.
8 aircraft flew to Harrowbeer at 1325 hours and returned at 1430 hours. Two aircraft took part in Fighter attacks, air firing at 1330 hours, and four aircraft did same at 1530 hours. Four aircraft were ordered to patrol over a convoy and returned to base without incident. At 1700 hours 4 aircraft were ordered to scramble and patrolled over Seaton at 10000 feet returning to base after 60 minutes flying without incident.
