Further Anti Driver Patrols were carried out; between 11.45 hrs. and 21.45 hrs. a total of 10 patrols were undertaken. No Divers were met however. P-2459 P/O.Chrapkiewicz, S was posted from 84 G.S.U. for flying duties. P.792229 F/S. Pilot Dowgalski, E and P.794927 F/S. Koloszczyk, T also arrived on posting from 84 G.S.U. for flying duties.

Anti Divers Patrols were carried out today and pilots had some luck and 2 ½ Divers destroyed.
is claimed: 1 ½ by F/Sgt. Rudowski, S and 1 by W/O. Czezowski, J. F/Sgt. Rudowski was the first pilot of 306 Squadron to shoot a Diver down. P-784123 F/Sgt. Michalkiewicz, K – pilot returned from P.A.F. Depot.

Pilots continued Anti Divers Patrols today. Between 05.45 hrs and 22.35 hrs a total of 26 patrols were undertaken. W/O. Nowoczyn, W claims one Diver as destroyed. P.2316 F/O. Laszkiewicz, L was reported a Prisoner of War wef: 11/6/44 after previously been reported as “Missing” wef: 11/6/44.

23 Anti Diver Patrols were carried out by the pilots today between 05.35 hrs and 21.40 hrs.
4 ½ Divers are claimed as destroyed: ½ by W/O. Rogowski, J: 1 ½ by F/Lt. Marschall, K: 1 ½ by F/Lt. Wisiorek, M: and 1 by W/O. Rudowski, S. When W/O. Rudowski was attacking his Diver another jet propelled aircraft fired also and the bullets entered the wings of our aircraft. Aircraft became cat A/C pilot was unhurt.

Klawe, W: and the other by F/Lt. Siekierski, J. P-1644 F/Lt. Jelinski, Z was posted to P.A.F. Depot N/E Sick along with P-1899 F/O. Tronczynski, S. P-0718 f/Lt. Kudrewicz, B arrived on posting for flying duties from 84 G.S.U. supernumerary.

Between 06.00 hrs and 22.00 hrs today pilots carried out a further 24 Anti Diver Patrols. No Divers were encountered however. Pilots carried out a Ranger Patrol in the BEAUVAIS area. This sortie was without incident other than an accident to P-2667 P/O. Migos, F who was killed. When pilots were forming up for this Ranger Patrol over Base – RODEO No. 385 – a spitfire a/c flew into the formation by accident. Our aircrafts starboard wing was turn off by impact and it spun to the ground – pilot was killed instantly. P-1917 F/O. Wedzik, M promoted to rank of F/Lt wef: 1/6/44.

Between 09.25 hrs and 21.50 hrs our pilots continued their Anti Divers flying. They carried out 17 patrols, but had no luck. P.782825 F/Sgt Pilot Loska, E was promoted W/O. wef: 18/6/44.

Pilots continued their Anti Divers activities today again. 21 Patrols were carried out but without success, between 08.05. hrs and 21.35 hrs.
17.50 11 of the Squadron pilots and aircraft took off from Base led by G/Capt Nowierski and carried a Ranger Rodeo patrol in the area LE BOUGET – LAON – VALENCIENNES. Some flak was met on this sortie, but apart from this the trip was uneventful enough. Pilots landed back at base at 19.35 hrs without loss.

Further Anti Diver Patrols were carried out today. Our pilots completed 23 of these between 06.25 hrs and 21.35 hrs and a “Bag” of four Divers destroyed was made. W/O. Rogowski, S claims two Dicers destroyed: W/O. Pomietlarz, J – one: F/Lt. Wisiorek, M – one: P.2144 F/O. Grzybowski, L posted from No. 61 O.T.U. for flying duties.

Our pilots made 20 Anti Diver Patrols today between 06.10 hrs and 20.15 – F/Lt. Beyer, A claims one Diver destroyed. P-784855 F/Sgt. Pilot Mrozowski, W was reclassified :”Safe U.K. wef: 23/8/44”. F/Sgt. Mrozowski, W was previously reported as “Missing wef: 21/6/44”. All personnel of the Squadron were very pleased to hear this good news.
