No Operational flying today. Two pilots carried out air to sea firing practises, and a further pilot undertook one aircraft test through the day. There was no other flying.

Local flying sorties and aircraft tests were the only flying undertaken by our pilots today. P.1624 F/Lt Sologub, G was detached to R.A.F. Tangmere for No. 1 Flying – Fighter Leaders - Course.

Pilots carried out Anti Diver Patrols under control of RIGHTEAR during the day. Patrols were uneventful however.

Further Anti Diver Patrols were made by our Pilots again today. No “Divers” were met however and patrols were without event.

No Operational flying was carried out today. Squadron was released from Anti Diver work for the day. Local flying was undertaken by four pilots in the afternoon – this was the only flying undertaken.

Squadron pilots made 10 Anti Diver Patrols today between 12.25 and 19.00 hrs. One “Diver” was intercepted by F/Lt Jeka, J and destroyed. All other patrols were without incident. General Anders, the Polish C. in .C. visited Andrews Field. General Anders met All Officers and pilots of 133 Wing.
12.15. The Polish C. in C. gave an informal talk to all personnel of the Wing in the Operations Room: and congratulated them on the Operational work carried out. General Anders stayed to lunch at the Officers Mess.

14.45. Eight pilots carried out formation flying and practise dog fighting over Base: landing at 16.15 hrs. Other training flying carried out today consisted of cine camera gun exercises, by two pilots from 11.15 to 1`2.30 hrs. No Operational flying today. Several aircraft tests were undertaken.

Anti Diver Patrols again today – still no claims. Two pilots landed BRADWELL BAY after their patrol, and returned to Base later in the day. No other flying was undertaken.

Further Anti Diver Patrols were carried out by the Squadron pilots today. Once again without success. Several local flying sorties and aircraft tests were completed. There was no Operational flying. P.704861 Sgt Pilot Bobrowski, P was posted from 133 Wing H.Q. for flying duties.

13.20. Twelve pilots from 306 Squadron participated in Operation Ramrod 1502 – a long range escort mission to LANGENDREAR. Pilots returned to Base by 16.50 hrs.

08.25. Twelve of our Squadron pilots took off from Base and escorted Bombers to MARSBERG. P/O A. Zyborski in aircraft “F” had engine trouble and had to land on the Continent at B. 65. Pilots landed at B 65 after this Operation – at 13.05 hrs approx.
17.45. Pilots: having landed at B.65: took off from that landing strip and flew to URSEL.
Pilot landed at URSEL at 18.05 hrs.

09.45. Pilots flew from URSEL to B.65 landing at that drome at 10.05 hrs.
12.15. Twelve pilots took off from “B.65” and carried out Operation Ramrod No. 1506 – long range escort to Halifaxes bombing at RECLINGHAUSEN. F/O Hryniewiecki, C returned to Base – Andrews Field – with mechanical trouble. Other pilots landed Andrews Field by 14.55 hrs and without incident. Non Operational flying through the day consisted of local sorties only.

Pilots participated in Operation Ramrod 1508 in the morning. Operation was an escort Mission with Lancasters to BREMEN. Nothing to report.
16.10. Eight pilots took part in Operation Ramrod 1509: landing Base by 19.20 hrs. One pilot was forced to return early – due to mechanical trouble.
There was no other flying.

Ramrod 1510 – escort to 200 Lancasters bombing HILDERSHEIM – kept pilots busy this afternoon. Mornings flying consisted of aircraft tests only.
Pilot Officer Berezowski returned to Base early from the Operation – his aircraft had developed Glycol trouble of a minor nature.

Aircraft tests were again carried out in the morning, and this afternoon pilots took part in Operation Ramrod 1514: no other details than those given in Appendix “A”. P.703045 W/O Zaworski, J and P.792229 W/O Dowgalski, E were promoted W/O wef: todays date.

Pilots covered the Allied crossing over the River Rhine in a “Varsity” Operation in the morning. Squadron pilots escorted a Glider formation – without event. Ten pilots took part. After this Operational mission there pilots carried out formation flying and homing over Base between 17.40 and 18.40 hrs. P.792779 W/O Pilot Pomietlarz, J reported on posting for flying duties from No. 61 O.T.U.

Ten pilots participated in Operation Ramrod 1515 during the morning. Squadron pilots were escorting “Heavies” bombing HANOVER. Mission without incident.
On return from this Operation pilots carried out Homing: cloud flying: and formation flying over Base. Several aircraft tests were completed.

15.10. 11 pilots carried out Squadron formation flying over Base until 16.05 hrs. Two pilots also had carried out Flight formation flying in the morning. Aircraft tests were completed. There was no Operation through the day.
P.2434 F/O S. Harasymowicz the Squadron Medical Officer was promoted to P.W.R. of F/Lt wef: 11/11/44. P.2681 P/O Wacnik, S – pilot – was promoted to the P.W.R. of W/O wef: 15/11/44. Authy: for the above promotions was DGP/A/4/35 dated 3/3/45.

15.05. Twelve pilots took part in Operation Rodeo No. 418 – a fighter sweep in the area of DUMMER LAKE . MAGDEBURG and MUNSTER. This mission was completed without event. But two pilots F/Lt Wyrozemski and P/O Budzich had to return to Base without completing their task – due to mechanical trouble.
