14.25 hrs. Weather: Fair with occasional showers, vis. good. Last air – display was done to – day by Polish Wing at Coltishall. It was “fare – well” fly past, with “heartiest thanks” to ground – crew for a grand job done by them during the war and after. Pilots were solwing the me[Illegible] on the ground. All three Squadrons: 306, 309 and 315 took past in this last performance.
11 a/c. from our Squadron took off from Base and landed last time at Coltishall at 15.10 hrs.
Five more cross – country sorties were flown to – day, two a/c. were taken for air – test of a/c. and C.O. took off for cloud flying. Unusually busy in flying day.
