Weather cloudy with light rain at first, mist forming in morning. Flying training continued. One patrol was flown at night. F.O. Damsz, Pliot. and F.O. Sylwestrowicz, Nav.(Radio) in a Mosquito (Mk.V.A.I.) made contact with E/A at 6,000ft. off Torquay. They were controlled by Exminster G.C.I. and upon e/a diving for home were handed over to Kingswear C.H.L. No visual obtained. Chase lasted 2 ½ minutes.

Robertson, Nav/Radio. crashed in Mosquito aircraft through undershooting on landing. The aircraft was burnt out. Both officers received severe injuries and were admitted to Hospital. They were posted to R.A.F. Exeter as supernumery non-effective sick, following crash. Flying training continued. Two patrolswere flown during the night but there was no enemy activity i n the area.
