F/Lt. Kawnik and Sgt. Kowala are missing. P/O Kudrewicz wounded, machine riddled. S/Ldr. Pisarek, after being chased over channel by Jerries; lands at Manston with machine riddled. Acknowledged. 5 enemy aircraft destroyed: S/Ldr. Pisarek, P/O. Kudrewicz, P/O. Bozek, Sgt. Widlarz, Sgt. Zielinski. 2 Probables: Sgt. Zielinski, P/O. Kudrewicz.

In evening Sweep. 306 Sent on different course. Squadron by itself run into 60 ME.s. S/Ldr. Pisarek, Sgt. Schiele and P/O. Retinger each get one ME. Sgt. Widlarz two probables. Not understandable why the Squadron is sent over by itself just after a wing had been over and brought all the Jerries out. Lucky that the whole Squadron was not wiped out.

Churchil and Harry Hopkins visitstation and inspect Stirlings, Halifax and Fortresses. In the afternoon another bomber escort. No results.

Sweep over France. Planes shot up on drome by St. Omer and Guine. On way back Squadron attacked. F/Lt. Janus, P/O. Surma and Sgt. Kremski each shot one down. S/Ldr. Pisarek 1 probable. 1 allotted to whole Squadron. Two destroyed on ground. P/O. s. Bozek and Orzechowski fail to return.

Sweep over St. Omer in morning. Enemy seen but no encounter. In afternoon patrol over Dungeness.
