Air Firing again cancelled. Visit made to Hawkers. Hurricanes and Typhoons seen in production. Towards evening one flight sent out on Scramble. Owing to dusk they land at Biggin Hill and return the next day.

Ramrod. 315 goes as Escort to Hurricane Bombers. 303 and 208 protect their return. 2 enemy formations spotted and attacked as bombers return. No result. Krawczynski goes to rescue of Hurricane attacked by 4 Messerschmidts. M.E.s make away. After landing Hurricane pilot rings up to express thanks.
