Ramrod 316 12 a/c of this squadron together with 12 a/c of 306 squadron took off at 13.35 as escort to first part formation of Bombers (Bostons) , to bomb target at St. Evreux. Squadron met bombers over Channel at 13,000 feet. Thick fog over French coast up to 8,000 feet. Squadron ordered to return and landed at 15.00 hours. Ramrod abandoned.

Ramrod 325. 12 aircraft of this squadron and 12 of 306 Squadron acted as close escort to second part of formation of Bostons. Target Audingham. Bombers were met over Dungeness at 10,000 feet. The bombing was concentrated and accurate. Heavy A/A fire over target. Whilst in the South Foreland area, wing was warned that three enemy aircraft were approaching. Wing turned to starboard but enemy aircraft was not observed. Weather over France 10/10 cloud at 10,000 feet. Visibility good.

Ramrod 330. 12 aircraft of this squadron and 12 of 306 Squadron acted as close escort to second attack of 24 Mitchell bombers flying in dispersed formation. Bombing was concentrated but target not visible owing to ground haze. Flak was heavy medium between Cape Gris Nez and target. WEATHER: Ground haze over Channel and France, visibility good.
Ramrod 333. 12 aircraft of this Squadron and 12 of 306 Squadron acted as close escort o second attack bombers bombing Audingham. The operation went according to plan. Bombing was concentrated but pinpointing impossible owing to ground haze. Flak heavy medium over target. Weather: clear but ground haze over target area.
F/O R. Dubielecki arrived back on the squadron after being non-effective sick at Ballyhalbert.

Ramrod 336 This Squadron together with 306, mustering 22 aircraft took off at 12.35 hrs acting as escort to first box bombers part 3 of 72 Marauders bombing Rosieres Airfield. No enemy aircraft was seen. Bombs seen to burst on runways and dispersals. Heavy medium flak over target. Burst seen at 20,000 feet. Weather 6-7/10 cloud over French coast at 5,000 feet.

Ramrod 339 Together with 306 Squadron acting as close escort to part one to 72 Marauders bombing Chievree airfield. One F.W. 190 destroyed by F/O Szadaj of 306 Squadron. Very good bursts seen on west dispersal and two sticks across airfield. Combats observed over target. Flak light medium and accurate for height. Weather 2/10 cloud at 5,000 feet. Visibility very good. Pilots landed at Croydon, Redhil and Biggin Hill.
