Squadron under S / the Command of S/L. Niemiec took part in a flight Roadstead 62as “Close Support” for 12 Beaufighters going to bomb enemy shipping. F/L. Litak, S. proceeded today for an interview to 12 Group.

4 pilots lead by W/C. Zumbach went for a tryp Ranger II. Barrack and locomotives have been shot up. Next trip also Ranger II has been carried out by other 4 pilots under the Command of S/L. Niemiec. During the day a couple of pilots scrambled for a couple of pilots scrambled for a defence Patrol over the Northern Sea. Training Flying constant of formation flying and A/C. Test.

Squadron in strength of 12 A/C. took part in a flight Roadstead 66 as Close Escort for 12 Beaufighters with torpedoes. Squadron lead by F/L. Marcisz second trip consisted of 4 A/C. which went for Ranger over Holland. The locomotives claimed destroyed. Training flying consisted of A/C. test and Air Sea Rescue Practices.

The day started with the Scramble for a defence Patrol over Holland Sea. The rest of way spent on training. Carried out Air to Sea firings, to A/C 2 A/C. tests and detailed for interception exercise and 2 A/C. for test.

4 A/C. Commanded by F/L. Marcisz went for a tript Ranger 5, but because of bad weather returned earlier. Training flying consisted of 7 trips for practice bombing, 1 trip for affitration with Hudson, cloud flying and some low flying.

Invasion of Europe begun. 4 A/C. scrambled for Defence Patrol other 4 a/C went for a Jim Crow reconnaissance patrol over enemy Coast. In the afternoon 4 A/C. have been detailed fir Jim Crow. There was nothing to report. Training flying consisted of a flight for army Cooperation. Strenght 4 A/C. F/O. Wlazło went to London to P.J.G.

In the morning scramble of 2 A/C. Afterwards 4 A/C. detailed for Jim Crow. During which several small enemy shipps heve been reported. In the afternoon 4 more A/C. carried out Jim Crow, but there was nothing to report.

In the morning Jim Crow to the shores of Holland. In the meantime Scramble of 2 /A/C. In the afternoon 4A/C. Took part in a day Ranger 8 to the island of Olieland over which they have been shot up by A.A. Defences. One A/C. got some holes and immediately returned. The rest carried out their exercises and got back safely. There was one trip of 2 A/C. for Army Cooperation.
F/O. Wlazło returned from London.

Formation of 4 A/C. carried out Ranger 10 over Aerodromes Leenwarden and Eelde. Weather was very poor and there was nothing to report. 2 A/C. scrambled and went over the Northern SeaM They met there a last Thunderbolt which they have shot up but fortunatelly did not shot down. Happily they three returned to the Coast. Training flying: 2 A/C. for calibration. To day joined our Squadron F/L. Klawe attached for some days training on a Mustang.

1 locomotive has been destroyed. One of our pilots did not return from this trip /F/S. Fusiara/
F/S. Załeński came to day attached to the Squadron for training on a Mustang.

4 A/C. took part in Jim Crow, shipping, reconnaissance. 4 A/C. scramble over Base. 12 A/C. took part in a practice bombardemant, 1 A/C. in Aerobatics and cloud flying. F/L. Zajączkowski left to day for a toughening course to Church Fenton.

8A/C. took part in 2 flights Jim Crow along the Coast of Holland looking for enemy shipping.
4 A/C. carried out Ranger 2 over Holland. 1 locomotive has been destroyed, but one of our A/C. has been shot up a bit but returned to Base safely. Two A/C. patrolled over convoy and two scrambled for defensive patrol. Training flying consisted of Army Cooperation, local flying, A/C. test and calibration.

2 A/C. went for a recconnaissance along the coast of Holland. 10 A/C. took part as close Escort, in a trip against enemy shipping. Beaufighters detailed for this trip sunk 6 vessels and damaged other. After that 8 A/C. have been detailed for Jim Crow over the battlefield.
12 A/C. went up for rodeo 4. There was nothing to report this time. Training consisted of 7 trips for practice bombing. Today two new pilots reported for duties. F/L. Zielonka, F/L. Szymankiewicz.

4 A/C. detailed for Jim Crow. Training consisted of 2 trips for “First solo”, 3 trips Air to Air Firing and some local flying. F/O. Klawe after finished training left Squadron. F/L. Morawiak ceased to be attached to this Unit. Two new pilots reported to the Squadron for flying duties: W/O. Grobelny and W/O Sztramko.

Milej who returning from this trip fell into the sea and dr[Illegible]ned, while descending through the clouds. 4 A/C. carried out Jim Crow along enemy coast. 2 A/C. scrambled. Training consisted of local flying and 7 trips for practice bombing. To day one more pilot reported to the Squadron for flying duties.
