The unconditional surrender of Germany was announced. No flying by any of our aircraft. W/O Noga and Sgt. Wiewiorowski were posted to the Squadron from No. 61 O.T.U. for flying duties. This, as VE Day was declared a holiday.

Again celebrated as a holiday. No flying by our aircraft.

Seven a/c were engaged in Training formation flying, and one carried out a Sector Recce. Flight.

One of “B” Flight’s a/c did local flying, seven carried out practice formation flying and one was flown to Hendon and back. Four a/c of “A” Flight carried out formation flying photo attack practice, two did local flying and Sector recce., and one was flown to Barrow-in-Furness, Rednal and back to base.
