WAR DIARY

OPERATIONAL CONDITIONS

An since April 22nd, 1945 No. 2 Polish Corps, of which this Unit was in support, was in reserve of 8th Army, no more operational flying has bean by this Squadron, but the Squadron was doing Communication Flight duties.
Through the month Flight “A” were doing Communication Flight duties for Polish [Illegible] evacuation & ex, P.O.W.

WEATHER
Very good weather prevailed during the whole month of May, with tho exception of 26th. May, which unabled three pilots of this Squadron from taking part in Desert Air Force Fly Past at Campofido Airfield.

LANDING STRIP
Not very good at Villa Arzana an at Villa Pasqualla. Very good on Port S. Giorgio Airfield (not tp speak of ForliAir field), and at M.203304. Fair at M.168377.
